SOUND IN A BOX ist ein interaktives multimediales Tanztheaterstück für ein junges Publikum. Der Theaterraum wird zum Forschungslabor, in dem die Kinder zu Interaktionen eingeladen werden. Bewegung wird in Klang und Klang in Bewegung transformiert - ein Dialog zwischen Körper und Sound entsteht. Die Kinder werden zum Mitmachen eingeladen und können eigene Sounds und Bewegungen kreieren.

Miriam Röder
completed her dance studies at the University of Music and Dance, Cologne (Bachelor of Arts Stage Dance, 2015) and at the University of Arts in Ottersberg (Master of Arts Art and Theater in Social Affairs, 2017). She takes part in various dance productions, most recently in pieces by Magali Sander Fett and Neus Ledesma Vidal, and develops her own solo and dance productions for young audiences with PRETTY PLAYFUL PRODUCTIONS. The search for new physical forms of expression is the focus of Miriam - she on the unexpected occurring in the dance experiment and letting chance play.
Michael von Schönberg
studied free art at the HBK Saar (diploma, 2017) in Saarbrücken. Since then, Michael has been working in a wide variety of performance and theater projects with very different target groups.
In his work he deals with the creation and effect of ritual spaces as well as with gender, sexuality and queer
physicality. But working with children and for them gives him the opportunity to also
to research and work in completely different fields. He always strives to make theater that takes children as counterparts seriously. Michael has been part of the Pretty Playful Productions collective since 2017.
Johanna Schlösser
is a choreographer, dance teacher and production manager. She completed her dance studies from 2004-08 at the Palucca School in Dresden. Since then she has been working as a freelance artist on various formats and projects as a solo artist or in a collective with Pretty Playful Productions. In the development phase of pieces, Johanna attaches particular importance to the reflection and exchange of views between all artistic participants.
Neus Ledesma Vidal
is a choreographer and dancer. In 2010 she completed her dance studies at the London Contemporary Dance School. Through interdisciplinary collaborations, her work explores identity, feminism and literature in relation to movement. In Bremen she works in productions by Magali Sander Fett, Pretty Playful Productions and Birgit Freitag. She has been part of TanzKollektivBremen since summer 2022.
Manuel Gies
alias Scuzzo is a musician and sound artist from Hamburg. In his artistic work he deals with perception in general and in particular with sounds, noises and their interaction with us humans. To this end, he initiates perception walks and sound walks. As a musician, he plays not only with various instruments, but above all with everyday noises, samplers and live electronics. He works with children and young adults in the field of experimental music and sound research, produces radio plays, soundtracks and podcasts.
